SALE ALERT: My Top Wishtrend Black Friday Sale Recommendations

It’s big, it’s bad (for my wallet), and it only comes around once a year. It’s the Wishtrend Black Friday Sale! With prices up to 45% off, Black Friday is hands-down the best time to shop from Wishtrend. And I would know because I regularly stalk Wishtrend’s website. Actually, Black Friday is pretty much the only time of the year that I shop from Wishtrend because the deals are just so damn good that I wait for them every year! The 2020 Black Friday Sale lasts from November 23rd to the 29th. And the Cyber Monday Sale is from November 30th to December 2nd.

For those who don’t know, Wishtrend is a kbeauty company that currently stocks 6 different brands: I’m From, Dear Klairs, By Wishtrend, Rovectin, Cosrx, and Skin & Lab. (I’m not including Eclair and Jungle Botanics because they only carry one product from each brand.) Skin & Lab, Cosrx , and Rovectin are pretty widely available on other Kbeauty websites, so it is pretty easy to buy their products elsewhere. However, Wishtrend is one of the few places that you can shop the brands I’m From, Dear Klairs, and ByWishtrend, so I feel like their Black Friday sale is an especially big deal for these brands. It is just about the only time that you will be able to find products from these brands at such low prices. Coincidentally, these are some of my favorite brands (especially I’m From and Dear Klairs)!

Below I will be sharing my recommendations for the sale and my thoughts on each recommended product. You may notice that I will only be discussing 4 of Wishtrend’s 6 brands, that is simply because I haven’t tried enough from Cosrx and Skin & Lab, not because they aren’t great brands.

Dear Klairs

Sofy Airy UV Essence SPF 50 PA++++*

Sale Price: $16.80 (30% off)

Review: Read my review here. In short, this is my favorite sunscreen so far. It’s lightweight but still moisturizing. It doesn’t pill and gives my skin a nice natural, but slightly dewy finish.

Supple Preparation Toner

Sale Price: $15.40 (30% off)

Review: This bestseller is a really lovely basic hydrating toner. It is slightly viscous (not watery), but it is still very lightweight and perfect for layering. One thing I love about this is that it is available in both scented and unscented versions, so you can choose which one you would prefer. The scented and unscented versions contain all the same ingredients, except the scented version also includes essential oils. Both versions contain Centella Asiatica Extract (soothing), Hyaluronic Acid (hydrating), Licorice Root Extract (brightening), Beta Glucan (hydrating), Aloe Leaf Extract (soothing), and Panthenol (also soothing). Overall, this is an excellent soothing and hydrating toner that could work for all skin types.

Midnight Blue Youth Activating Drops

Sale Price: $21 (30% off)

Review: Read my review here. This is a great gentle anti-aging products containing peptides. It is very watery and lightweight and easy to incorporate in to any routine.

I’m From

Rice Toner*

Sale Price: $16.80 (40% off)

Review: Read my review here. This has to be one of my favorite toners ever. It is incredibly hydrating and moisturizing even though it has a thin watery consistency.

Honey Mask

Sale Price: $22.30 (40% off)

Review: I purchased this during the last Wishtrend Black Friday sale and have since emptied it. This is one of my favorite wash-off masks because of how hydrating it is. It contains 38.7% of real honey, not honey extract, actual honey. As a result, the mask really looks and smells like honey. It also feels like honey, but not quite as sticky. It still spreads easily, and feels really comfortable on the skin. You can leave this mask on your skin for up to an hour, which is what I usually do because it feels so nice. At $38, this mask is normally more expensive that I’d like, so I’d definitely recommend grabbing this during the sale.

Mugwort Essence*

Sale Price: $24 (40% off)

Review: This is a new product in my routine, so this won’t be a full review. But overall, I am enjoying this product so far. It is very light and watery and only contains one ingredient: 100% Mugwort Extract. Mugwort is an ingredient that has become popular in kbeauty in the last two years. It is known primarily for its soothing properties. I have been wanting to try this product for ages, but the $40 price tag always put me off, until now! So if you’re interested in trying this product, grab it now while it’s 40% off!

Rovectin

Activating Treatment Lotion*

Sale Price: $17.40 (40% off)

Review: This is possibly Rovectin’s most popular product. It is an incredibly hydrating essence/toner with an awesome ingredients list. It contains multiple weights of Hyaluronic Acid (hydrating), Niacinamide (brightening, anti-aging, anti-acne), Caffeine (anti-inflammatory), Panthenol (soothing), Allantoin (soothing), Licorice Root Extract (brightening), Centella Asiatica Extract (soothing), and Papaya Fruit Extract (mildly exfoliating). This essence/toner is quite viscous and relatively thick. It can feel a bit tacky, especially if you use too much. In general, I think this product is best for normal to dry skin or anyone who wants a real moisturizing punch and doesn’t mind a bit of stickiness.

Cica Care Balm*

Sale Price: $15.60 (40% off)

Review: This product comes out as a relatively thick, creamy balm. When I think of a balm, I tend to think of a vaseline-like texture, but this is not like vaseline at all. Really, it just feels like a somewhat thick moisturizer. And even though it is called a Balm, it’s actually meant to be used like a regular moisturizer. It contains Centella Asiatica Extract and Madecassoside, two of my favorite ingredients for soothing sensitive skin. This is a great product to use at night when your skin is feeling a bit irritated, or perhaps you have an active breakout that needs calming. I probably wouldn’t repurchase this at the full price, because there are other similar products out there at better prices. However, for 40% off, I wouldn’t mind repurchasing this at all.

Cica Care Sleeping Pack*

Sale Price: $20.40 (40% off)

Review: While the Cica Care Balm is nothing like Vaseline — the sleeping pack actually is a lot like it. To me, this feels like a lightweight Vaseline. It’s not quite as heavy, but it still forms a film over the skin and it will stick to your hair and pillow, especially if you use too much. That being said, I actually really like this sleeping pack. Because it is somewhat like Vaseline, it seems to work really well to seal moisture into your skin, which is the main thing that I want a sleeping pack to do. Unlike Vaseline, it also contains a number of beneficial skin-soothing ingredients, including Madecassoside, Centella Asiatica Extract, Calamine, Panthenol, Allantoin, and Aloe Leaf Extract. Because of the heavier texture, I would primarily recommend this for dry or dehydrated skin. Again, this isn’t something that I would want to buy at the full price, because there are so many other affordable options. But I would go for it at 40% off.

Polyphenols in Propolis 15%*

Sale Price: $19.20 (40% off)

Review: This is another new product in my routine, and thus this is not going to be a full review. However, I can say that I am really happy with this product so far. This is an incredibly hydrating ampoule that works best in my nighttime routine. It is on the heavier side, and it does have a rather tacky finish. But it leaves my skin looking glowy and feeling very hydrated. This contains a high percentage of propolis, 15%, a powerful anti-inflammatory ingredient that can have anti-acne benefits. It also contains Houttuynia Cordata Extract (anti-inflammatory), Witch Hazel Extract (anti-inflammatory), Turmeric Root Extract (anti-oxidant), Lactobacillus Ferment (soothing, probiotic), and Portulaca Oleracea Extract (soothing and anti-oxidant). Because this products is rather heavy and highly moisturizing, I think it can work very well for dry skin. However, because of all the anti-inflammatory and soothing ingredients, this could also work well for acne-prone skin.
