Finding Balance and Navigating Extremes

Welcome to the Balancing Project!

Welcome!  I hope you are having a good day. But if not, that’s okay too.

We live in a world of ups and downs, positives and negatives, happiness and sadness. And everything in between. It’s natural, but sometimes, it can be hard to navigate these extremes. Especially in a world that often seems to encourage an all-or-nothing mentality and frequently judges things, feelings, and people as good or bad. There is little space for embracing the in-between, for finding balance.

That is why I created The Balancing Project.

I am trying to live a balanced life, free of judgement and extremes, full of gratitude and loving-kindness. Acceptance, wellness, and peace will be found here. I believe in self-care, meaningful work, occasional sacrifice and occasional indulgence. I believe in taking care of your whole self, through mental, physical, and spiritual health. I believe that it is possible to achieve balance, to follow a middle path, and to find happiness.

But, I’m not there yet. And that’s okay.
